A new 3-day multicultural festival to celebrate unity in diversity
The eagerly anticipated "ALL FOR ONE MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL" is set to make its grand debut from June 21st to 23rd, 2024, in Scarborough, Ontario. A collaborative effort between PLACA and Woodside Square, this inaugural event promises to be a celebration of diversity like no other.
Originally conceived as a virtual event in 2020 by PLACA, "All for One" has evolved into a live festival showcasing the rich tapestry of cultures that make up Canada's mosaic. Partnering with Woodside Square, a premier destination in Scarborough (www.woodsidesquare.com), amplifies the festival's reach and impact.
Scheduled to coincide with Canada Multiculturalism Day on June 27th, the festival embodies the spirit of unity and inclusivity. By bringing together multicultural artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural groups from across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, "All for One" aims to foster international appreciation of Canada's diverse ethnic communities.
We believe that diversity is Canada's strength. Through “All for One,” we seek to showcase the vibrancy of our multicultural society while fostering unity and understanding.
Attendees can expect a feast for the senses, with international culinary delights, authentic cultural products, carnival rides, and mesmerizing performances from participating ethnic communities. The festival will serve as a platform for cross-cultural exchange and collaboration, highlighting the unique contributions of each partner community.
With its inclusive ethos and dynamic programming, "All for One" is poised to become a flagship event in Scarborough's cultural calendar. Join us at Woodside Square this June as we come together to celebrate diversity, unity, and the richness of Canada's multicultural heritage.
